Anne Prins is a designer who translates personal stories into tangible objects. Drawing on themes such as mental health, vulnerability, and recovery, she explores how design can make emotions visible and open to discussion. Using a playful visual language and unexpected combinations of textiles, ceramics, and everyday materials, she creates objects that invite you to take a closer look, revealing a layered and personal story.
Can a piece of clothing reveal who someone is? For REBIRTH, I’m working with seven men from my immediate circle, each with their own story. Real people. I explore how this complexity can be expressed through clothing: what is revealed, what remains hidden, and what lies in between. REBIRTH demonstrates that clothing can approach identity but never fully define it. Each design becomes a portrait, shaped by my perspective as a designer and the viewer’s interpretation.
Sarah Palomares (2001, Venezuela) is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the female body as a biological, ancestral, and political terrain in her work. She works with textiles, sculpture, video, and performance, exploring forms of care, memory, and embodied knowledge. Her work unfolds through an ongoing dialogue with the material, in which the act of making becomes a process of listening and reciprocity, revealing how the body and the material shape and transform one another.

My name is Lieke Schreurs; I’m 22 years old and have just graduated from the Design program at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts. With my collection “in het licht,” I take you on a journey through a series of light objects that evoke a sense of wonder. Through my experimental paper studies, I embrace unexpected coincidences. This gives rise to unique shadows, shapes, and color combinations. Take a close look or step back—and discover how light can surprise you!

Lanique Schols (2003) is a visual artist from Maastricht. In her work, she explores the boundary between science and imagination by developing fictional research worlds. With Luminocaptica (the science of capturing light), she poses the seemingly simple question: How do you capture light in a jar? Drawing on existing physical theories and speculative experiments, she creates works that straddle the line between convincing science and carefully constructed fiction.
Tamar Dahlmans
Tamar Dahlmans’ work draws its inspiration from the landscape of South Limburg. In her work, she explores the relationship between people, landscape, and soil. Tamar approaches the soil as an archive of time. By excavating loess soil herself and processing it into natural clay, she translates part of the landscape into sculptural forms. Her work is a personal quest to uncover the meaning of landscape and to explore what makes a place “home.”
Vincent Perriëns is an interdisciplinary artist who, through his artistic practice “Digital Tangibility,” explores how traditional painting and digital media can reinforce one another. Drawing on personal memories, emotions, and social themes, he creates layered works in which craftsmanship and technology converge. Using painting, illustration, graphic design, 3D, photography, and audiovisual techniques, he develops a new visual language in which art is not only viewed but can also be experienced in a different way.
My name is Cis Sluijter, a visual artist and graduate of the DBKV Art Academy in Maastricht. Drawing on my background in decorative restoration, I explore the human body, physical distortion, and body horror. In my work, I combine beauty and discomfort with themes such as the acceptance of all body types. I allude to heaven and hell, and the fall between the two. I work with authentic materials, natural supports, and homemade pigments. Extensive research into materials and imagery forms the foundation of my practice.
